Grace started working with 4 Site Security in a temporary role, giving support with projects, and six years later… she’s still here. “One thing led to another and to a permanent role, and I was more than happy to stay,” says Grace. “I had to learn payroll quickly, researching, finding my feet, and building my confidence.” But now, Grace can write the book, and quite literally has done, as she has written a 40 page payroll manual to leave behind when she begins her maternity leave this month.

This is a clear demonstration of how extremely organised and helpful she is.

Attention to detail is a key part of Grace’s role, as she is responsible for everything that is pay-related for all of our employees. Grace is also responsible for SIA monthly licence check audits. Doing things the right way – the ethos behind the 4 Site Way and our vision and values – is very important to Grace. “When people are working so hard, often dealing with daily challenges on the front line, being able to trust that we will make sure they are treated fairly and correctly with integrity are a vital support.”

She says the fact that everyone helps each other out as one big team, and that everyone is encouraged to give their opinion and feel an important part of the company’s decision making are why she loves working for 4 Site Security. “Everyone here is passionate about doing things the right way and to the best of their ability.”

Grace has her own personal, big project outside of work which is renovating her first house – a bigger job than first thought! She loves home making and spending time with the family.

We asked Grace: What do you think is the most important invention in history and why?

She said: “Chocolate, because it makes everything feel better!”
